Export to Audio File Changes the tempo(?)

I wrote a piece for saxophones, violin, guitar, and bass. The .mus file plays fine, the way I want it to. However, when I export the audio file to an mp3 (or even an aif) the tempo changes to a much, much slower speed. Why would that possibly happen?
The files can be downloaded here: http://www.erniecentofanti.com/Zydeco.zip I have included the .mus file which sounds correct, and also the .mp3 file which plays too slowly. I want the tempo to be at quarter note = 190. It's as if the mp3 is defaulting to the tempo it would use if no tempo were assigned (like maybe quarter note = 100?).
Sorry, the zip file was too big to attach to this post.
I have never had this "tempo alteration" problem before. The only other item worth mentioning is that I created this music by taking one of my earlier pieces (which had essentially the same notes in it) and changing the instrumentation using copy and paste, and then re-assigning channels appropriately.
