Hello,
I already posted my problem on the german finale forum, but nobody could help so I try it here, please excuse my crappy english.
I created triplets (screenshot "as seen on screen") and it looks ok on the computer, when I print it the brackets of the 1st and 3rd quarter ar suddenly missing (screenshot "as printed") I assoom it has something to to with having used 2 different layers? I hope someone knows the solution. Thank you!

The way Finale (and PrintMusic) works, is that a tuplet is assigned to the first entry in the tuplet - in this case the 8th rest.

Therefore, when you hide the rest, you also hide the tuplet.

Fix:
Don't hide the rest.
Instead, move the rest down below the bottom edge of the page.
In that way the rest won't print, even if it is not "hidden" (if you zoom out, you can see the rest below the page.

My guess is that you should move the rests by about -250 Steps.
