Hi,
I'm using Printmusic 2006 on a Mac OS X 10.6.8, always been fine but today every time I try to create a PDF file using Print/Save As PDF, Printmusic crashes? Have they stopped supporting 2006?
Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance

You may have to contact Tech Support about this issue.
But meanwhile you should take the time to answer the obvious questions that also Tech Support will ask.
It is all about being scientific when you try to pinpoint the culprit.
You may be able to come up with more questions yourself:
1) Does the crash happen in other documents - or only in one specific document?
2) Does the crash happen in other programs - or only in PrintMusic?
Try e. g. with TextEdit, and create a document that uses some of the music fonts (= Broadway Copyist, Maestro, &c.)
If the crash only happens when you use a specific font, then you have reason to suspect that that font is the culprit.
3) From the Print dialog you can choose PDF > Save as PDF.
And then you get the crash, right?
Do you also get the crash if you instead try
- PDF > Open PDF in Preview
or
- PDF > Save as PostScript
?
4) The culprit could be a third party system extension.
Are you using any third party utilities (font utility, directory utility, antivirus &c.)?

thanks for your replies guys, I had tried rebooting but to no avail unfortunately.
I've just tried your other suggestions and it definitely seems to be a problem specifically with PrintMusic. I'm not running any 3rd party stuff or using any other fonts and I can save as pdf in other programs using the same >Print>Save as PDF method.
I guess I have to try tech support, thanks anyway
