Hello, how do you add multiple rests (numbered) in one measure using finale print music?

Help much appreciated!

Welcome to the forum!

In the "Finale-speak" it is called a multimeasure rest.
If you search the manual for the words "multimeasure rest", you will get info.

Basically the trick is that you must put all the empty measures into the document, if you have not done so already.
Then you select all the empty measures, and create a multimeasure rest.
(All the empty measures will still display in Scroll View)

Important:
The measures must be truly empty.
No real rests (only Default Whole Rests).
And no staff styles with Alternate Notation.

Thanks for helping me out Peter! I can now add # of rests in a single measure.
