PrintMusic 2011 - MAC

I have completed a score in engraver format. I now want to make a copy in handwritten format as I would like to put in technique instructions for instrument muting, straight, bucket etc.

How can I achieve this without writing out the whole score again?

Thanks.

Welcome to the forum!

I would create a new document in the handwritten format, and copy/paste the music into that document.

Many thanks. Yes, copying and pasting was the answer. I took the precaution of matching the number or bars (measures) in the skeleton score before pasting the notes from the original and it went without a hitch.

I note that there are no double bars or rehearsal letters in the copied version but that is an easy addition.

Thanks once again.

To get double barlines and rehearsal marks transferred, use Stack Selection, and Insert the music (⌘I) instead of pasting it.

Also, by Inserting the music you do not need to make the number of measures match.
Actually, you need only one (empty) measure in the new document.
You can delete the empty measure after the insert.

However, the inserted rehearsal marks will still use the font from the engraved style …
