keeping newly-created expressions

In Finale 2018 for Windows:
Every time I begin a new piece I have to add my pedal notations in the expressions section. Is there any way to create new expressions that would be permanent??? It would save harpists SO MUCH TIME AND ENERGY!!!

In the full Finale, you can save a library containing the new expressions. File > Save Library > check what you want to save. The next time you want them, File > Load Library...
You might find it easiest in the long run to start with a new Document Without Libraries, and create your expressions there. Do the same Save Library, and name it My Harp Expressions, or something. That way, you won't double the standard expressions when you load your own.

I have to reply that I have given up on Finale 2018 and gone back to my 2014 version. There were just too many kinks and problems with 2018....
