Sleigh Ride Score 3 - 001 Part 1.musx
I extracted a part from a score and found that I have notes show up past the end of the stave that I cannot erase. Since they are not in the system, I cannot delete them either. What can be done? In the attachment it is past measure 80.

I use Finale 2014 for Windows.

Make sure "Automatic Update Layout" is on in Preference/Edit. It should always be left on.

Automatic Update Layout doesn't help if measures are overfilled. Measures 80 and 123 have too many beats in them. In Simple Entry, you can navigate to the extra rest at the end of each of those measures and delete them.

P.S.: I only saw the overfilled measures, in which the extra rest shows past the barline. I don't see any notes past the system. Maybe, because I have Automatic Update Layout on, it automatically does the process while opening the file.

P.P.S.: Nope. I turned AUL off, and still no notes past the end of the system.
