I was working on a song and found that 6 measures of the bassoon line at the beginning had been ruined somehow, copied over by some line of music that had nothing to do with that instrument or part of the song. I didn't even recognize it, and I NEVER touched that part since finishing the introduction. I wasn't able to undo anything, and I have NO IDEA how this problem even happened. How would I recover the older saved file that has the correct line on it? None of my .baks are opening because Windows can't find Finale PrintMusic when I search for that program to open the .baks in. Thanks for any help, much appreciated.

Rather than double-clicking on the .bak's, try opening them from within PrintMusic. If it's the one you want, do Save As and give it the file name you want.
