A dream and some suggestions:
I wish there was a function that could simplify one of the most common - and aggravating - tasks a music writer faces: dotted rhythms.
Suppose you could select two equal notes, say, two 8ths, and turn them into a dotted 8th-16th, either from a keyboard "D" or clicking an icon.
And in similar fashion, suppose you could take a string of notes or measures and simply select them and click an icon labeled "swing" - again, one of the commonest things in all music, to swing and go straight at will. I fight, I fight, I fight with this thing trying to get dotted notes and swings working right.
Dotted rhythms

You can. Purchase the full Finale.
Everyone has the “just one thing” that should be added to PM. If you added them all up, you would have Finale. Sorry, but that’s the way it has always been.

Vigzig88,
This forum is the PrintMusic (sub-)forum.
And therefore miker thought that you had purchased PrintMusic.
Fortunately there is a simple way to determine whether you have the “full Finale”:
Do you have the Plug-ins menu (right next to the Window menu)?
Only the “full Finale” has the Plug-ins menu.
