I have Print Music 2007 on an IMac. I moved printmusic app files around awhile back and now I cannot open a new doc. I can open files i have already created.
I get :Print music cannot start wizard because a necessary data file (intrument.text) could not be found in the component files folder.
Is there a way to get this working again. thanks,

You need the file "Instrument.txt" in the folder Component Files, because the Document Setup Wizard uses that .txt file to create its list of instruments.
Try a Spotlight search for "Instrument.txt".
If the file has been deleted, you can get it back by downloading the PrintMusic demo.
Or, even better, by downloading the demo for the full Finale.
With the full Finale's copy of "Instrument.txt" you will have more instrument options available.

The file "Instrument.txt" is merely a text file.
You can edit it in any word processor - even TextEdit will do - and customize the list of available instruments to suit your exact instrument/staff needs.
