MIDI playback - changes in dynamics on a single note

Hi everyone! I was wondering: Is it possible to hear changes in dynamics (cres., dim., etc.) over a single (held) note during MIDI playback in PrintMusic 2009? I placed a hairpin crescendo (fp < ffff) over an accordion note held over a few measures, but MIDI playback does not include this crescendo, even with the human playback feature enabled. Thanks for your insights!

I've just had a fiddle with this feature, and it seems to work if you treat it right. At least in my 2008 version. I notice that to hear the dynamics you need to press the Play button... it doesn't seem to work if you use the ad hoc space-click method.
