You know how when you place a new note on the staff, Finale automatically plays that note, so you can hear it and make sure it's correct?
Well, for some reason it's not playing the note when I plot it, and I'm not sure why. Can someone kindly tell me:
1) Why this might be happening?
2) How to turn the "play note" feature back on?

Simple menu>Playback notes on entry
You may have accidentally turned it off when you went to do something else in the menu, or maybe you loaded someone else's document, who had it turned off.

The strange thing is that that feature was already checked when I went to click it; but after unchecking and then re-checking it, it started working again.
