printmusic 2011 optimizing

There is no optimzie function under pagelayout view

and one can not adjust individual spacing in staffview to hide selcted measures.

Any solutions?

That function is no longer available in PrintMusic 2011. According to MM, it was an undocumented feature in earlier versions, that was not meant to be in PM at all. When they overhauled the staff tool in 2011, Allow Individual Staff Spacing became superfluous, and was removed.

Contact MM, and yell loud and hard.

Why does the online documentation still mention this option (under staff tool) ?
