I don't see it in Human Playback but is there a way to simulate a guitar strum such that the notes in a chord sound like they are being "strummed" rather than played simultaneously? Thanks.

Use the arpeggio articulation. It often won't work on the first beat of a piece. Give yourself a blank measure, and it should be fine.

Please add the program you're using to your signature, in the forum Control Panel.

Thanks miker, that works. I'm probably asking for the moon now, but is there a way to adjust the rate of arpeggiation, i.e., a faster strum?

Thanks.

I think that you are stuck with the rubato tempo, but maybe Mike can help.

No, not in PM. But take a look at this article in the Finale Blogs. If you ever feel the need to upgrade...

I'd love to upgrade but it looks like the trade-up price from PrintMusic to Finale is $400 so that won't happen any time soon...gotta get the kids through college first!
