Yes, I'm imagining that I can' t do this on PrintMusic2010, and am not complaining; I'm getting LOTS of good use out of this program. But if I CAN do 7/8, what am I missing?

Secondly; I might be "off topic", but in the bands I play in, they presented a piece today that has a 7/8 section, SOOOOOO, if anybody has some relatively simple [not kindergarten, but not "advanced" either] 7/8 tunes, could you send me a copy, either in PM, or in email. Any key, any instrument combinations, 3 staves, 10 staves, doesn't matter.

Then, I can create my own "tunes" later from that "template" and learn what I'm not grasping in band right now. If you DO have a sample, pls be certain that the scrolling and green bar line are not turned off, as I have no way to turn them back on.

Perhaps this should have been in classified section, but wanted to see if ther IS a way to create it with my PrintMusic2010, too.

My email is LareeRudee@aol.com

You should be able to do 7/8 in Print Music 2010. I tested with PrintMusic 2011.

Create a document in 4/4. Click on the time signature tool, and then double click the first measure. Click the lower LEFT arrow (Beat duration) until the 4 becomes an 8, then click the upper RIGHT arrow (number of beats) until you get a 7. Then click OK however many times that you need to.

If you click the lower RIGHT arrow in the above example, you will get to an 8, but you can only get 3/8, 6/8, 9/8 and 12/8 that way.

Ha, I thought I tried EVERYTHING, but it kept skipping over the seven from 6 to 9, so your steps did it for me.
