Drum Groove will not generate, SongWriter 2010

iMac intel. Attempt to generate Drum Groove gives message: Percussion layout not found.

Staff stays blank, no groove.

Any ideas?

I use EZDrummer.

It has a "Nashville" section where I seem to spend most of my time.
In that section is a "ballad" section that has several "grooves."

My favorite drum "groove" appears to be called a "push."
The others that you talk about are also listed.

thump-space-thump-thump on the kick drum.

I don't know if that is any help Neil. I'm feeling my way through the dark on all the home recording stuff, but having a good time.

What steps are you taking to try to generate the groove? I'll try to follow you on my machine, and see what happens.
