Lyrics problem

Hi

I am trialling Songwriter, at the moment.

I am trying to create a song and chords sheet.

So...I go File/New/Document from Template/Lyrics and Chords.ftm

Then click the Lyrics Tool and....I type, but nothing. I click around for an insertion point, but nothing. Try a different line, nope. Insert a chord first, not that either. Try from Lyrics/Type into Score, no dice. Try a reinstall of Songwriter, nothing doing.

I can't help feeling I have missed something blindingly obvious, but.....

Is there someone who could help me out, please??

When you launch the template, a setup box appears asking for Title, etc. Don't fill that in. Just tap Cancel. This will take you right to the template, and you will be ready to go. You can add your title and other info directly onto the document, with the text tool.

The instructions are not clear. No fault of yours!
