In SW 2012 I've written the lyrics on Staff 1 but want to copy them en masse to Staffs 2,3,4. Can SW do that? I know I can copy the entire Staff 1, notes and all, onto Staff 2 and then readjust the pitches but that would be laborious. Ideas?

Thanks,
Larry

No, there's no other way.

Larry, are you familiar with the repitch tool? That will make changing the pitches nearly effortless. I use it constantly, even with the full Finale.

Repitch tool: I know of it, but it looks like you have to know the keyboard and I don't play piano. Will this be a hindrance?

To use the Repitch Tool you don't have to know the MIDI keynoard - you just have to know the computer keyboard.

I recommend that you do the tutorial document "EntryExercises.mus".
There are many goodies in there (it is not just about the Repitch Tool).
