Transpose for different instrument

Songwriter 2012. Is it possible to transpose one part of a duet? I play Bb Clarinet and want to play duets with a violin (in C). So I'd like to transpose the violin part so it sounds good with a Bb clarinet, but leave the clarinet part alone. I've played around a bit with Finale transposing but not much.

Since you are using SongWriter (which has many limitations in comparison with the "full Finale"), try this:
Create a new document for Bb Clarinet and Violin.
Enter the notes into the two staves.
The "transposition relation" between the Clarinet staff and the Violin staff will automatically be correct.
You can even copy/paste music between the Clarinet staff and the Violin staff, and the music will automatically get transposed correctly.
If you already have entered the music into another document (perhaps as a duet for two clarinets, or for two violins?), you can copy/paste the music into the new document.
