Hello !
Could you explain me how to obtain this result (upper notes) :
As you can see, two 16th notes are separated. In the manual, it's written to use the "/" key to obtain it.
But when I do it, these is what it give :
What is the shortcut to obtain what I want ?
Thanks !
Pat.
I don't want a tie !

It's because of how your time signature is set up. You used the 3/8 from the context menu, which is set as a dotted quarter, so all the notes are beamed together.
You can break your beam. Select the first sixteenth note D, and tap the / key. Then, apply the slur. (NOT a tie.)

It looks like your / is painted on the key used to add a tie.Patlemortel wrote:…What is the shortcut to obtain what I want ?…
One solution is to change the keyboard layout to another keyboard layout, namely standard american keyboard layout.
Finale is designed to work with standard american keyboard layout.
Unfortunately the symbols painted on the keys do not change when you change the keyboard layout.
However, there just may be another, and simpler solution:
Look in the menus and sub-menus of your note entry tool.
Next to each menu item you can see its keyboard shortcut, including the keyboard shortcut for the menu command "Break/Join Beam".
By The Way:
Do you not have more than one key with the /?
I have it on both the NumPad and on the QWERTY keyboard.
Have you tried both keys?

Yes ! I forgot to use the other key !
Thanks !
And thanks for the vocabulary, too ! As for "beam" than for the difference between "slurs" and "tie" (we've got the same word in french).
Pat.
