On the Repeat Selection I select D.C. al Coda.

The playback ignores it.

Your attached file is not a Finale document, but rather a PDF file.

In order to troubleshoot we need to see an actual Finale document with the playback problem.

I reduced the file to be less than 100 K

In your attached Finale document the text repeat D.C. al Coda was not assigned to having a playback effect.
Playback effect is set in the dialog box Text Repeat Assignment.

Try the attached Finale 2012 document.
Its text repeat D.C. al Coda repeats all right for me.

Thank you very much, Peter. I see that the problem was that the text repeat D.C. al Coda was not assigned to having a playback effect. I did it now and it works.

One more question, please.

I'd like to playback that way:

m. 1-15, followed by
m. 1-13 , finally followed by
m. 16-18

that is, the second time not playback measures c. 14-15

What text repeat should I put and which assignment for the playback effect?
