Apologies if this question has been asked before but I couldn't see anything.

I suspect that the answer is going to be 'no' but I wondered if anyone knew if there is a way to change instruments part way through a staff and then back again? I'm already at 8 staffs so cannot add an extra one but need to add some percussion in.

I'll find a work around if it's not possible but thank you in advance for any advice.

This is easy with Finale, but I don't know about Songwriter; perhaps someone else will. If not, you might consider upgrading.
