How can I get multiple verses to play back
Moderators: Peter Thomsen, miker
I have just bought SW 2010 and I write music for church. This involves a combination of choruses and verses. I have just written a song that starts with the chorus, then has 3 verses and then has a different ending of the chorus to finish. I want to publish the song to play back but when I try to add repeats on the verses/chorus it just repeats indefinitely. Is there a way of specifyng this playback behaviour?

I don't know SongWriter, but switch to the Repeat Tool, and take a look at the Repeat menu.
Perhaps there is a menu item that allows you edit the repeats?
Also try the context menu on a repeat handle.

SongWriter 2010 will do it. After you place your forward and back repeat bars, with the Repeat tool selected, you will see selection boxes at both repeats. Double-click on the selection box of the backwards repeat bar, and you will get a dialogue box that lets you assign the number of repeats.
