tied notes and second endings....

Hi Everyone:

Here's the scenario: the measure before the 1st and 2nd ending contains a whole note which is supposed to tie to a half note in both endings. It works fine in the first ending, but can't seem to make it happen for the second.

Any ideas? Thanks so much.

I don't think SW can do anything to make it play properly. However, you can make it LOOK correct by using a slur in the second ending.

It's not uncommon, in the child programs, to need one version written out fully for playback, and another for print.

Thanks- I was starting to figure that was the only way. Although I really solved it by deciding not to hold it over. That was the easiest solution of all and I actually think it sounds better. I win. Thank you!
