Hi,

I would like to use some special notations that are used for flamenco music. In particular I'd like to

1) use an up or down-arrow beside a note.
2) remove the head of a note or group of notes
3) place a "arpeggio" sign (a wavy line) before a chord written with notes. When I use the articulation tool, the wavy line goes automatically above the notes. I don't know how to modify this.

I'd appreciate you help.

1) & 3) Engraver TextH has some. Or you can create them easily with the Expression/Shape designer.
2) Select a region. Utilities->Change->Noteheads. Select an empty character box

Michel,
If the OP is using SongWriter, he does not have option #2.

Oops. Once more, I didn't look at the forum section in which the question was posted. Thank you, miker, for reminding me.
