finale songwriter 2007 freeze at first note

Some times when I start the program, the note display doesn't know. Then as soon as I click, the new document just plays and cannot be stopped. Then the program freezes. Some times I re-open it and it does the exact same thing, other times when I re-open it, it functions normally.

The culprit could be a stuck key on the computer keyboard, namely the space bar, since the space bar triggers playback.

If the key is only electronically stuck (not physically stuck), a computer reboot should fix the problem.
