Piano staves, separate dynamics

Can Songwriter playback separate dynamics for simultaneous notes e.g. pp in the base, mf in the treble for piano? It's not a big deal as I can play it by hand but now I have my midi playback working I might never have to leave my computer

You need to set up the treble and bass staves as two different MIDI channels. Then it should work for you.
