i have the mac volume full blast. mixer volume all the way up.
why is volume so low on playback?

I'm with you, unfortunately. I never know when this is going to happen and how long it's going to last. So far, all I've done is quit and done something else. Sometime later, when I return to Songwriter, it often will be fixed. If not, I have to start over. Very frustrating.

Perhaps you have some other sound player in a reduced volume. This has happened to me before.
