Has anyone figured out a realistic sounding way to do this? I think I figured out -where- to do it in Human Playback Preferences, but I am too much a noob to know which actions to map to the technique.

Anyone have any ideas?

There is a Col legno sample in GPO5; and Finale comes with a col legno expression that triggers the appropriate key switch.

If I create a new document with a Violin Section, and apply the col legno expression, then it works.

If you don't have GPO5, but just the Finale-bundled sounds, then you'll be out of luck.
