Hi all -
I am writing a short bit of music in Finale 25, for Mac.
For the first measure, I add a Forward repeat.
The second measure has an Ending (repeating on "1, 2" - the first and second times)...The third measure has an Ending ("3").
I'd like to repeat this pattern multiple times, though. Is there a way to put that inside of another repetition structure?
Or do I have to just add all of the repeat numbers, (i.e., 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 8, etc.. for the first ending and 3, 6, 9, etc.. for the second ending.
Thanks.
Repeats and Endings.

If it’s for print, I would just write Repeat as Cued for the musicians. If you want it for playback, since it’s a short piece, just write it out completely, and use a simple repeat.

Is it a vamp? "Vamp till ready" is common in musicals.
