Can't figure out the rhythm

I have finale 2010 and I'm trying to transcribe a guitar solo. I can play it, but I can't seem to notate the rythym correctly because it has a really tricky timing. So, I'm wondering if there's some way I could use my computer keyboard as an input to record the rhythm (I don't have a MIDI keyboard to use as an input) or maybe somebody has some other suggestion. I have a USB mic that I've been trying to get to work with hyperscribe but it doesn't seem to be working. I think the volume is too low but the slide bar for mic level in audio options won't move. Thanks.

If it's that tricky, it's not likely that hyperscribe will be any better at it then you are. If you can't figure it out, you're probably best off looking for somebody to help. Sorry.

I'm am having similar problems. Soooo frustrating. I would pay a copyist.
