I've got a key of Gb.
When I try writing the chord Cb with the chord tool, Finale converts automatically Cb into B.

How could I write "Cb", please?

I suppose that you are entering the chord symbol via the Chord Tool's entry mode "Type Into Score" ?

Instead of Cb, type Dbbb.

Yes, I know it sounds crazy, but it works .

The culprit is the Chord Tool feature "Simplify Spelling".
