Hello, I'm here with another set of stupid questions.
The Two bar repeat symbol means the previous two bars are repetead, not the previous bar is repeated two times, right?

When a part made of different layers is exported to pdf, one of the layer is light blue. How to avoid this (without unchecking the Display colors option) ?

For your first question, yes -- the two bar repeat symbol means play those 2 bars again 1 time.

Sorry, but I don't know an answer for the PDF issue. I generally export/print my music in black and white. I'm sure one of the experts here on the forums will be able to help on this one.

Finale can print the display colors if that option is selected. By not selecting that, the display colors will all print as black.

To avoid the blue layer color - without unchecking the Display colors option - customize the settings for Display Colors:

Preferences - Display Colors

I personally would leave the display colors as is (default) and just not print the display colors. Much easier. The display colors are helpful to keep you organized as to which layer you are in, for one.
