In the past, I successfully used the JW Change plug-in to modify Finale's default spacing between a guitar chord name and the fretboard diagram. But after a fresh installation, the plug-in does not work at all for me. Can someone correct where I am erring in the steps below?
1. Selection Tool (upper icon menu) -> click in first
measure of section -> hold down "Shift" key -> click
in last measure of section.
2. Plug-ins (upper text menu) -> Favorite Plug-ins ->
JW Change.
3. Scroll down and expand "Fretboards" -> Vertical
Position.
4. Set, for example, as follows.
Vertical: 0.07634
Relative: Yes
Filters: [-] (click on)
Chords: All
Opposite: NO
5. Apply -> Close -> enter chords. You may need to
move a scroll bar for the diagram to appear.

It sounds like you are applying the plugin, and then entering the chords. It only works after they are entered.
