Hi,
Is it possible to place guitar chords diagrams horizontally instead of vertically?
Many thanks

acidbahia,

It's possible, but only with a workaround:

The Chord Tool can't rotate fretboard diagrams, so you have to create the symbols manually in the Shape Designer.
You can then attach the rotated symbols as expressions with the Expression Tool.
This also means that you don't get the advantages of the Chord Tool:
- automatic transposition if you change the key signature.
- automatic chord playback.

Still interested?
Send me an e-mail, and I shall mail you a .MUS template (Finale 2002 format) that can get you started.

Peter

PS
What version of Finale are you using?
Mac OS X 12.6.9 (Monterey), Finale user since 1996

Hello Peter,
Thanks for replying
I use Finale 2005 and a Mac.
I created some guitar scales examples and it would be better to have them horizontally.
Thanks
