Shortcuts changing
Moderators: Peter Thomsen, miker
For some reason pressing "8" does not transpose the selection down an octave any more, it now transposes it down a whole tone (just like "6" does). I did not change this shortcut. How can this happen? How can I change it back?

Actually, the number 6 key does not by default transpose down a whole tone, but rather down a scale step.Misemao wrote:For some reason pressing "8" does not transpose the selection down an octave any more, it now transposes it down a whole tone (just like "6" does) …
Transposition shortcuts are document specific (not program specific).Misemao wrote:… I did not change this shortcut. How can this happen? …
In Other Words:
This can happen if you open a document where the number 8 key has been programmed for transposing down a whole tone.
To change the transposition metatool back (Mac Finale):Misemao wrote:… How can I change it back?
Open the document.
Hold down Shift-Command, and hit the number 8 key.
