How do I repeat a note/chord several times?

Drag to select just the single quarter note chord. Copy. Then select 2 measures and Paste 8 times.
If your entering using the letter keys, it might be just as fast doing it manually. For a C chord (CEG), press C-3-3 eight times and you're done.

All these years, and I never saw the paste multiple option. This is going to save me so much time from here on out.

I don't recall when I first noticed that but it became one of my favorite features immediately.FwL wrote:miker wrote:Copy/Paste Multiple...

I was able to copy just a single note with Copy/Paste Multiple.
If you're copying whole measures, you can just select the source and then Ctrl+Alt-click in the target measure, which brings up the Paste Multiple dialog.

I feel like somebody just demonstrated electricity for the first time.
I've been doing all this stuff with brute force for so long.
