I am not sure, what the desired layout should look like (upstems? downstems?), but try the Beam Angle Tool (a sub-tool in the Special Tools Tool).

Drag the left handle to stretch all stems, drag the right handle to change the beam angle.

I suggest that you attach a (small) Finale sample document here, for the gurus to examine.

Without having an actual document to look at, we can only guess.

My first guess:
Make sure that you are in the correct layer.

what i don"'t understand is that ia succeeded the first time with the first measure , the second measure , no way at all , i can't grab anything
maybe it's my version of finale after all..-(2014)

I doubt it. You can delete all but the measures in question before uploading.

You have to click in the measure first to make the handles appear. It only works on one measure at a time. Maybe that's it.

I have version 2014.5 and have no problem. Are you clicking in the staff, rather than above or below it? The former is reliable, the latter is not.

Also, none of my business, but having all the stems going in one direction is pretty much standard nowadays, as opposed to putting the beam in the middle like you've done.
