Finale Forum

I'm using Songwriter 2012 in Windows.
I am entering lyrics for different voice parts, but unwanted dashes are appearing, mostly between the words, but sometimes under the words. I can't select and delete them.
Any ideas please?

This often happens when lyrics are entered into different verses accidentally, thus confusing Finale. This can also happen if different layers are used, but less likely. If you can post the file, we can probably help hunt down the problem.

I was sure you were right but, in fact the marks have now disappeared. Very strange!
