Hi! I'm not new to PM but just upgraded to 2014 - yay! I'm trying to find out how to hide the staff lines/spaces, and yet keep the notes visible (this is for pre-readers). Bonus - can I put note names in the note heads??

Also how on earth do I print out the manual so I can have it in my hands and not just online? I have searched many times but can't figure it out.

Many thanks!

No, you can’t do that in PrintMusic. Only the full Finale allows hiding those elements.

Finale has Alpha Notes, which put the pitch in the note. Again, I don’t think PM can do it.

Nor can you print out the manual; since they went to the web-based, rather than a searchable PDF.

PrintMusic is a stripped-down version of Finale. Currently, Finale 25 is the available program of the full version. You must have a 64 bit Operating System to use it. If you only have 32 bit, I think you can still get 2014.5, but I'm not sure.
