Printing staves

Hello

I sing.
I need a "pocket format" sheet music for my voice.
On the original score, I've deleted all staves but mine.
And I now want to print it nicely on 1 or 2 sheets of paper.
But there are blanks everywhere.Image
I need to make it compact.

Is there an automated laying out facility in Finale ?
THE "UPDATE LAYOUT" DOES NOTHING FOR ME. I need all these blanks to go !

There is a better and faster way. Just create a part for the staff you want.
In the Document menu -> Edit Part, check if the part has been generated.
If it is not there, use Manage Parts -> New Part to create a part that includes the staff you want.

thanks
I've managed to get my voice on one sheet.
But the whole "manage parts + edit part + print/format" options was just mind boggling.
I am a professional user of Adobe Softwares, and I am used to rather complex interfaces.
The Finale interface for managing / editing part is just outlandish and must have been designed by some hostile and sadistic alien from another galaxy. Or worse : by an engineer.

Make a copy of the full score.
Switch to scroll view. (This is to include any staves that might be hidden in the original)
Select everything but what you want to keep. You can use the Staff tool, or the Selection tool.
Hit the DELETE key. (You will have to repeat these last two steps, if the vocal line is in the middle of the score.)
Switch back to page view.

This might be a step or two longer than Zuill's solution, but it keeps everything visible while you work. Easier for a beginner.

My bad! You always get there before me, so I assumed it was you.

Apologies to michelp, and thanks for your solution.
