Finale v 25.5.0.290
Windows
My piece opens with a very long solo, and I'd like to not have empty measures for the other four instruments for those pages, but so far I've only been able to figure out how to delete the entire instrument with the staff tool. how do you do this?
How to remove instrument staves for a specific page only?

When in the Staff Tool, select the measures in the region needed, and from the Staff Tool menu, select Hide Empty Staves.

Could not find "Hide Empty Staves" but "Force Hide Staves (collapse)" in the staff tool menu achieved the effect I'm looking for. thx

I'm guessing you are referring to a Staff Style. In the menu, Hide Empty Staves is the second from the bottom item. In any event, I'm glad it worked out.
