Am new to Finale, bought a manual, but can't find the answer in there.

In an orchestral score, I inserted a measure into one of the instrument staves. Stupidly, I'd not understood the difference between 'insert' and 'paste'. After inserting, all the measures for that instrument have moved one place to the right, and its part is now one measure late from the insertion point to the end.

How do I restore the instrument's part? I want to delete a measure and have everything after it pulled 'earlier' one measure to the left, just for one instrument stave. In the edit menu, all I can see is 'cut'.

Thanks in advance for your help guys. :?

Found 'Delete measure from single staff' here:

This should do it. :)

You should be able to just copy the passage one measure to the left.
