Cannot find an answer to this in the manual.
I've a quaver (1/8th) note tied to a semi-quaver (16th note). This is how it shows after importing an XML file. I would like for thie two tied notes to show as one dotted quaver (1/8th) note.
How can I consolidate the two ties notes into one?

Also, what are your settings in
MIDI/Audio menu > Quantization Settings > More Settings
?
The options
Allow Dotted Rests in Simple Meters
and
Allow Dotted Rests in Compound Meters
affect not only rests, but also notes (yes, crazy; just one of those things)
