Edit Measure Regions (Measure tool, menu). Apparently, the first measure of the region was incorrect, too big. Change it to 1.

but your solution does not work
i have changed measure number as you proposed to "1" but measure numbres does not apears?
Have you tried to change it in the finale 2008 file I have attated in my presious message?

The oldest version I have is 2009 (I have modified the file in the 2009 format, but you couldn't open it).
I had to do a few corrections ;
1) as explained, the number 1 as first measure. The numbers appeared right away.
2) In "Enclosure"; I changed it to none
3) I reduced the font size
4) I fine-tuned the position (Position button)
Here is a screen capture of the first systems (measure numbers are set to the beginning of each system).
If you follow these steps, you should get the same results.
