Can we write 8vb?

I understand that 8va below the staff equates with 8vb. But is it possible to write 8vb below that staff with playback? If so, how?

The SmartShape "8..." will play back correctly. The default below the staff is 8va, which you can change to 8vb if you want in the SmartShape options.

"8" or "8va" below the staff is standard. It's the belowness than means basso. But 8vb is common. There have been many discussions here and elsewhere debating the appropriateness and etymology of 8vb, but it doesn't bother me.

Yes, not a big deal...six of one and half-a-dozen of the other. I just wanted to try the option. Thanks. Now 8vb appears if placed below the staff and 8va if placed above.
