Have you looked in the Default File’s articulations?
There are 68 ready made articulations in the Default File (= Maestro Font Default).

If you only have 62 articulations in the default set, then you probably do not have the fingerings (which are the last five articulations in the default set, numbered from 64 to 68):
1, 2, 3, 4, 5
Regarding the Open String indication:
Articulation #22 has a circle.
If you prefer a zero, duplicate #22, and edit the duplicate.
No need to edit the settings for Positioning.

articulation 22, the circle, most definitely does not work in this particular instance. That means a note is a harmonic for string players. likely to cause more confusion than anything, especially if the note doesn't coincide with any natural harmonics.
but as you say, it's ridiculously easy to simply create a 0 articulation by duplicating one of the other numerals. takes a few seconds.

I have the fingerings, which is why I suggested the OP duplicate one of them. As Michel says, the circle would be mistaken for a harmonic. The numeral zero is what's usually used, which would have to be added.
Here's my Maestro set, which seems different from the above.

Awesome, that's what I suspected. Thanks for the hint.motet wrote: ↑Fri Dec 27, 2019 4:13 amI have the fingerings, which is why I suggested the OP duplicate one of them.
