I am composing for orchestra and electronic music. For playback I need to sync or embed some electronic music tracks (audio not just midi).

Is this possible in Finale?

Yes. However, it is not reliable. You need to turn off Human Playback or the track will get out of sync. If the track does not run at a perfect bpm, then you'll need to use tempo Tap to sync it, and that is not an easy task.

I was reading the topic, which said an audio track. Sorry.

There is the option of syncing to an outside device through rewire.
