re-authorization

When I fire up Finale to begin with, and select open mus file (or whatever) no problem. When I click on a mus file in windows, I get a message that I need to authorize my version of Finale. I can continue, but with limited functionality. My installation has been authorized for months and months, so that's not the issue. What would cause the gum up when opening a file from Windows File Explorer rather than from within the software itself? Thanks!

I've had ths before but I don't know why. However, the first fix it to just re-authorize through the internet. If that doesn't work, try phoning Make Music (or even send a message at their web site.) They can usually re-authorize immediately.

But ttw is correct. If you can't solve it from the website, open a support ticket and they can clean it up from their end.
