Hi,
In this chart the rests are visible in the tab but I think they're in a different layer and they don't appear in PDF version, and I'd like them too...

Nothing to do with layers. By default, rests and ties do not display. To fix:

Select the TAB staff. Choose the Staff tool, and Edit Staff Attributes. In Items to Display, check the Rests box.
